Work directly with Keith Fields on a custom Subaru WRX or STI e-tune, developed through datalogs and revisions for your hardware and fuel. I have tuned Subarus since 2005. Choose your engine generation below, or ask about your setup before ordering.
No payment required to ask. I’ll reply by email; an inquiry does not place an order or book a session.
Single-fuel Accessport custom tunes are $400; flex-fuel Accessport tunes are $600. Choose your generation to check requirements and documented results.

Which Subaru do you drive?
Choose your engine generation to check equipment, fuel and logging requirements. Single-fuel Accessport tunes are $400 and flex-fuel tunes are $600, with up to eight revisions for most custom e-tunes. Standalone custom tuning starts at $500, with compatibility and scope confirmed for your project. Atlas and in-person projects are quoted individually.
2022+ WRX / FA24
FA24 WRX tuning for your fuel and hardware. See equipment requirements and the separate development histories of James’s WRX and Cinderelli.
EJ Subaru tuning with specific preparation and wideband datalogging guidance. Discuss your current flex-fuel hardware and calibration before making changes.
Work directly with Keith: setup review and a calibration developed for your agreed hardware and fuel.
Logs, feedback and revisions: up to eight revisions within the approved scope for most custom tunes. Extra diagnostic work or changes to the setup are discussed separately.
Your private order page: keep calibration files, instructions, messages, uploaded logs and revision history together. See how your order page works →
Allow up to one business day for each ready-to-review step once payment, required information and usable logs are received. The complete tuning timeline depends on your car and the requested checks. Hardware, licenses and in-person sessions are separate.
For supported FA20 and FA24 WRXs, I offer both tuning routes. Atlas uses its own software and compatible interface; Accessport maps and hardware are not interchangeable. I’ll review your current tune, equipment and goals before recommending a platform change.
My Subaru work spans FA24 WRX development, EJ STI builds and standalone engine management. These examples show how the tune follows the car’s hardware, fuel and intended use.

IAG & Kelford
An extensively developed WRX, with dated pump-gas and ethanol dyno records and an original 2026 comparison chart.
Watch Chris’s first-drive reaction and follow his STI from its April pump-gas record to its May E75 session. The original turbo stays part of this documented bolt-on example.
A staged FA24 project with a 424 hp July 2025 comparison and a later May 2026 six-speed report listing 441.3 hp with WCF correction. Follow the original reports, workshop photos and owner track videos.
This progression involved upgrades as well as calibration. It is not a tune-only gain on unchanged hardware.
The January 6, 2025 E80 report records 564.5 hp and 550.2 lb-ft. The Rallispec engine, Kelford cams and EFR 7670 build pairs performance with smooth response and selectable power delivery.
This is a standalone Emtron project, with its own scope beyond a factory-ECU e-tune.

An e-tune is developed remotely through requested datalogs, driving feedback and calibration revisions. A dyno session brings the car and suitable equipment together at an agreed facility. If the car has unresolved faults or cannot provide the required data, we discuss the checks needed before tuning starts.
Send the model year, transmission, market, modifications, fuel, device details and current concerns. If you use EcuFlash, RomRaider or Atlas, tell me your ECU/ROM and interface so I can assess support.
EJ remote tuning requires an external wideband and an approved way to record AFR or lambda alongside the engine log. A gauge display alone is not enough. The 2015–2017 FA20 WRX also requires an external wideband for remote fueling work; check your generation’s guide before buying equipment.
I began custom tuning in 2005. These original industry articles provide context for my AWD Tuning background alongside the individual projects shown here.
AMS Performance, October 16, 2018: the AWD Tuning Dealer Drop-In interview identifies me, Keith Fields, and discusses the shop, its Subaru work and its development at that time.
COBB Tuning, March 23, 2017: the TX2K17 event recap records AWD Tuning's Legacy GT Spec B entry in the 10.5 Index class. It documents the shop's event participation; it does not assign every vehicle or result in the article to me.
These are historical references to the work and shop background, not a statement of current dealer status or an endorsement of today's services. For my role, training and the wider project history, read Keith Fields's background and original sources.
A single-fuel Accessport custom tune is $400; a flex-fuel Accessport custom tune is $600. Both include up to eight revisions for most setups. Hardware and licenses are separate. Choose EJ WRX or STI tuning, 2015–2021 FA20 WRX tuning or 2022+ FA24 WRX tuning to review requirements before checkout. Standalone custom-tuning services start at $500; additional integration work and in-person sessions are quoted for the project.
Do I need a Subaru tuner near me for an e-tune?
A remote WRX or STI e-tune does not require a visit to my location. You need a supported tuning platform, a mechanically sound car and the logging equipment for your setup. If you prefer in-person tuning, I offer Orange County road tuning by arrangement and coordinated dyno sessions and travel tuning. Send your location and facility details before booking.
Is a custom e-tune the same as an OTS map?
A custom e-tune is developed through the agreed logging and revision process for your vehicle. An OTS map is intended for a specified combination. I offer custom tuning based on your individual setup.
How do the eight revisions work?
Custom e-tunes include up to eight revisions within the approved scope. We use them to evaluate the requested logs, adjust the calibration and confirm the result. They are an allowance, not eight mandatory rounds: a mechanically sound, consistent setup may need fewer. Mechanical faults, changing parts or fuel, and incomplete logs can require additional work. I discuss any added scope before proceeding.
Same-day delivery is often possible. Allow up to one business day after the required information, usable logs and any applicable payment are received. Business hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m. Pacific. This applies to each ready-to-review step; completing the whole tune depends on your car, logging and feedback.
Where do I find my files and send datalogs?
Use your private order page for calibration downloads and instructions. Open Messages, logs & revision history from that page to send the requested logs and feedback and follow the revision sequence. Keep your order link private. If you cannot find it, email Keith with your order reference so I can help.
What if I change parts or fuel after the tune is finished?
Your completed calibration is for the agreed hardware and fuel. Contact me before changing that combination or ECU software; do not assume the existing file covers the new setup. Send your previous order, current file and planned changes. Retune services are available for existing Keith calibrations, with eligibility, scope and any additional cost confirmed before work starts.
If you notice a new running problem, describe the symptoms and any warning lights through your private order page or email Keith. Ask which checks or logs are needed before collecting another full-load log. A mechanical repair and a calibration revision address different problems.
Can I buy a base map first?
The $50 base map service supplies a starting calibration for approved use and an agreed combination. It is not a completed custom tune; follow-up work is scoped separately.
Can I book a dyno session instead?
Yes. Send your location and facility details to discuss an in-person session or worldwide travel tuning.
I offer Orange County road tuning by arrangement. We coordinate the setup, schedule and vehicle handover beforehand; plan to leave the car with me for the day and arrange transportation.
Four details are enough to start. Ask about your setup, choosing a service or planning your next upgrade. You do not need a complete parts list to get in touch.
I’ll reply to your email to discuss the next step. Sending this inquiry does not place an order or book a session.
