CALIBRATIONS LLC / GETTING STARTED
Your tuning consultation.
Make the hour count.
A simple checklist for WRX, STI, COBB and standalone ECU owners preparing to talk with Keith.
Talk with Keith ↗You do not need every answer before getting in touch.
Send what you know and identify anything you are unsure about. A useful first conversation starts with an accurate description of your car and what you want to change.
1. Identify the vehicle and ECU
Include year, make, model, engine and transmission. Name the ECU or tuning device, such as a COBB Accessport, Emtron, Haltech or Link ECU. If you are uncertain, a clear photo of its label helps. Platform support depends on the exact vehicle and equipment.
2. List the installed parts
Separate parts already installed from future purchases. Include the turbo, intake, intercooler, fuel system, engine work, sensors and relevant drivetrain changes. Part numbers or shop invoices are useful when names are unclear.
3. Describe fuel and current calibration
State the fuel currently in the tank and what is normally available to you. Include the current map name, previous tuner and any recent hardware changes. Send existing logs if you have them; ask Keith which information is needed before collecting new ones.
4. Explain the goal or problem
Daily drivability, a specific running issue and a new race build are different starting points. Describe when a symptom happens and share existing fault codes. Include your intended use, timeline and planned upgrades.
