My vintage Porsche work includes Kinsler-equipped engines using Emtron Shadow, MaxxECU and MoTeC. These are distinct projects with different throttle systems and engine specifications.

EMTRON SHADOW 8 · CABLE THROTTLE
I calibrated this 964-based 4.0-liter Ed Pink engine with Emtron Shadow 8 and Kinsler cable throttle.
The induction, injectors, sensors and ECU configuration form the starting point. Calibration needs to fit the engine and its intended driving experience.
Explore my Emtron tuning work →MAXXECU · LARGE CAMS
I tuned this separate 964 engine with large cams, MaxxECU and Kinsler drive-by-wire. My work included injector setup, fueling and throttle behavior.
The cam specification shapes the calibration brief, including the way the engine responds at idle and as load changes. This engine had its own hardware and tuning requirements.
Prepare a MaxxECU project →MOTEC · STREET-SIZED CAMS
The MoTeC project was another 964 engine, using street-sized cams and Kinsler dual drive-by-wire. I calibrated it around its specification and intended use.
The goal is a complete driving experience: how the engine reacts to the pedal, transitions through load and delivers useful power. Integration and calibration have to suit the complete engine.
Explore my MoTeC tuning work →I work with owners, restoration shops and engine builders to define the calibration scope and coordinate testing. Send the engine and cam specifications, throttle arrangement, injector information, fuel, installed ECU and available wiring or sensor documentation.
For an in-person session, we also agree on the location, dyno access, engine or vehicle readiness and responsibilities beforehand. Equipment, travel and calibration scope are quoted for the project.

YOUR PORSCHE / YOUR PLAN
Send your year, model and the result you want from the car. Add your ECU, fuel and parts if known. I’ll help identify the right next step.
PLAN YOUR ENGINE MANAGEMENT
My 964 experience spans multiple engines with both cable-operated and drive-by-wire throttles. The installed throttle hardware, ECU and engine specification determine the work; a DBW conversion is not assumed as part of a tune.
