CHRIS PETRUCCIO · 2005 LEGACY GT · HALTECH

Krispy’s Legacy GT.

A Subaru wagon with a distinctive finished engine bay and a long development history. My chapter is its Haltech calibration at AWD Tuning, documented by separate 93-octane and E75 dyno sessions.

THE FINISHED HARDWARE

A closer look under the hood.

The finished bay brings the turbo, intake plumbing and cooling layout into view. The photos show a Garrett-branded turbo, Vibrant-branded titanium plumbing and carbon-fiber panels surrounding the engine. They document the car’s later presentation at Subiefest; the dated tuning results below stand on their own.

Two fuels. Two dated sessions.

These are the maximum power and torque values recorded in the original PowerDyne ActiveReports, using the weather-corrected channels. They are not estimates read from the smoothed curves.

The plotted curves use the original FIR smoothing setting of 35. The headline figures come from the separate ActiveReports peak fields, so they can be higher than the smoothed curves.

The original report filenames identify the fuel and the E75 boost level. Both reports identify Chris Petruccio’s 2005 Legacy. These are separate fuel sessions, not a stock-versus-modified comparison; output depends on the combination and test conditions.
