KEITH’S AWD TUNING ARCHIVE / FORD FOCUS RS
A grey Focus RS we built at AWD Tuning, with engine and turbo development followed by custom calibration. Follow the project through its dated Mustang dyno records.
Historical work from my time at AWD Tuning. The results describe this car at different development stages.

THE BUILD / ENGINE, TURBO & CALIBRATION
AWD’s March 2023 update shows the car in the workshop and describes the plan for a Speed Perf6rmanc3 built long block and a turbo upgrade after an engine failure. The later archive includes a June 2024 configuration labelled “PTE 93 oct” and a September configuration labelled “w-meth.”
The work developed as a complete build, rather than a single map change on an otherwise unchanged car. The dated results below document those stages; they do not isolate the gain from one component, fuel change or tune.
Planning a similar RS? Send the engine and turbo specification, fuel-system details, tuning device and intended fuel. For a setup using injection hardware, include its controller, fluid mixture, logging and failsafe arrangements so I can review the full combination.
ORIGINAL MUSTANG DYNO RECORDS
339.7 hp
374.3 lb-ft
Earlier individual run report, tested at 5:14:44 p.m. Hardware and fuel are not specified in this report.
400.7 hp
408.2 lb-ft
The archive labels this configuration “PTE 93 oct.” The 5:12:42 p.m. individual report shows the same values before and after WCF correction.
434.0 hp
416.0 lb-ft
WCF-corrected values from the 5:32:31 p.m. individual report labelled “w-meth.” The uncorrected values are 425.6 hp and 408.0 lb-ft.
These are Mustang dynamometer records for this car. Hardware, fuel, correction and report settings affect the figures; they are not promised results for another Focus RS.
Vehicle-year note: this is Jaycee’s 2017 Focus RS, confirmed by Keith. Some archived dyno reports incorrectly list the model year as 2016.

YOUR FORD / THE NEXT STEP
Tell me your exact Ford, installed hardware, fuel and tuning device, along with what you want to improve. I review the setup and logging needs before you order or buy more equipment.
