VR30 EcuTek tuning.
Your car, dialed in.

I offer custom EcuTek tuning for VR30-powered Infiniti Q50 and Q60 3.0t models and the Nissan Z, often called the 400Z. We start with your hardware, fuel and driving goals, then build a plan for remote tuning or a dyno session.

Infiniti Q50 3.0t tuning

Custom calibration inquiries for VR30 twin-turbo Q50 models, including Red Sport. Include your model year, trim and RWD or AWD configuration so I can review the exact application.

Infiniti Q60 3.0t tuning

From a street-focused coupe to a more involved build, I review the turbo system, fueling, cooling and intended use together. Red Sport and other VR30 trims receive a vehicle-specific assessment.

Nissan Z / “400Z” tuning

Discuss EcuTek tuning for your VR30-powered Nissan Z. Send the model year, trim and manual or automatic transmission. NISMO inquiries require their own compatibility check.

This service covers the VR30DDTT 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine. Q50/Q60 3.7-liter, hybrid and other powertrains are separate applications. I confirm the ECU/ROM, market and current EcuTek support for your exact car before we proceed.

Response matters as much as peak output.

I want to know how you use the car: daily driving, a weekend road car or competition. Transient throttle response, the relationship between pedal input and boost, and predictable power delivery shape the tuning plan.

Tell me about your available fuel, intake and exhaust parts, cooling changes, turbochargers and fuel-system hardware. Existing warning lights or drivability issues belong in that conversation too. A power target needs to fit the complete vehicle.

Remote tuning, dyno sessions and packages.

Custom remote EcuTek tuning

We agree on the setup and logging method, then work through requested datalogs, feedback and revisions. Follow the instructions supplied for your calibration and collect logs in appropriate controlled conditions.

Dyno and travel tuning

Arrange a session at a suitable facility or coordinate a shop tuning day. Location, dyno access, vehicle readiness and travel costs are agreed in advance.

EcuTek equipment and licensing

I can quote a tuning package around what you already own and what your vehicle needs. Send details of your interface, existing EcuTek license and current tune before purchasing additional equipment.

VR30 services are individually quoted. Your quote identifies the calibration service, included revisions and any required interface or license.

VR30 tuning questions.

Can you tune a stock car or a car with bolt-ons?

Yes, I review both. Send the exact parts, fuel and goals so I can confirm a suitable scope. A stock-turbo car and an upgraded-turbo build need different plans.

Do I need an EcuTek interface and license?

Tell me what you already have. I will confirm the required flashing and datalogging equipment and licensing for the agreed workflow. Existing equipment or a previous tune does not automatically cover every requirement.

Can we discuss ethanol, flex fuel or RaceROM features?

Yes. I assess the fuel system, sensors, ECU software and available features together. Flex fuel, map switching and transmission work are quoted only where supported and agreed; they are not automatically included with every engine tune.

How much power will my car make?

I do not promise a universal horsepower number. Fuel, hardware, mechanical condition, operating conditions and the measurement method all affect the result. We agree on goals around your actual setup.

How long do remote revisions take?

For approved remote map services, initial files and agreed revisions are usually delivered the same business day and within one business day after all required information, usable logs and applicable payment are received. Business hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m. Pacific. This is per delivery, not the duration of the complete tuning process.

Is this the same service as R35 GT-R or 370Z tuning?

No. Those are different engine and ECU applications. See the Nissan EcuTek overview for the appropriate route.
