TUNED BY KEITHBY CALIBRATIONS LLC

ECUTEK / SUBARU BRZ / KEITH FIELDS

Two generations.
One focus: the drive.

I offer EcuTek tuning for first- and second-generation Subaru BRZs. From a lightly modified street car to a more involved build, I develop the calibration around your hardware, fuel and how you want the car to feel.

Throttle response, smooth transitions and usable power matter alongside the dyno result. Tell me where your current setup falls short and what you want to improve.

Choose your BRZ generation.

First generation: 2013–2020 BRZ

The US-market FA20 2.0-liter BRZ. Send your intake, exhaust, fuel and engine details, plus any turbo or supercharger specifications. Naturally aspirated and forced-induction projects need different tuning plans.

I review the exact ECU and existing EcuTek setup before agreeing the work, including any requested flex-fuel or RaceROM features.

Second generation: 2022+ BRZ

The US-market FA24 2.4-liter BRZ. I review your model year, transmission, ECU ROM and modifications to confirm current EcuTek support before booking.

“2022+” describes the generation, not a promise that every future model year or ROM is supported. The quote is based on your specific car.

Outside the US? Include your market and model year so I can check the correct application.

Custom tuning and EcuTek packages.

I can help plan the tuning service and the EcuTek equipment or licensing your project needs. Tell me what you already own so the package matches your existing setup.

Remote tuning is available following a compatibility and logging review. Dyno tuning and worldwide travel sessions can also be arranged. Pricing, included revisions, hardware and licenses are confirmed in your individual quote before payment.

Factory ECU calibration

EcuTek reprograms the supported original ECU; it is a different route from installing a standalone engine-management system. Available functions depend on the ECU, ROM, software and package.

RaceROM and flex fuel

Where supported, we can discuss features such as map switching and flex-fuel calibration. Ethanol sensing, fuel-system capacity and the installed hardware must suit the intended strategy. Features are agreed individually rather than assumed to be included with every tune.

What I need to get started.

I’ll confirm the required datalog channels and any additional measurement equipment for your setup before tuning begins. Follow the agreed logging instructions and send feedback about how the car drives alongside the requested logs.

BRZ EcuTek questions

Can you tune both the old and new BRZ?

Yes. I offer tuning for the first-generation FA20 and second-generation FA24 BRZ, subject to checking your exact ECU, model year, transmission and hardware combination.

Is EcuTek hardware or a license included?

Your quote will state exactly what is included. Send details of equipment and licensing you already have before purchasing anything.

Can you tune a turbocharged or supercharged BRZ?

Send the complete build specifications. I review the engine, forced-induction kit, fuel system and logging requirements before accepting the project and setting its scope.

Do the WRX OTS maps work on a BRZ?

No. The WRX maps listed in the shop are separate products. A BRZ needs a calibration matched to its own ECU and configuration.

How much power will it make?

That depends on the hardware, fuel, engine condition and test conditions. I discuss realistic goals after reviewing your car rather than promise a figure from a different build.

Let’s plan your BRZ tune.
